Mick de Lint (1981) was raised in Amsterdam until he was 14, then moved to Vancouver with his family. Wanting to pursue a career in acting he moved to New York City at age 20 to attend the Circle in the Square theatre school. He acted for a couple of years in films and TV, but when he moved back to Amsterdam in 2008 he started working behind the camera as well, turning his hobby of directing, video-editing and photography into a full-time profession. He soon realized that he had more of a connection with making films and taking photo’s than standing in front of the camera and hasn’t looked back since. He’s been working with Scotch & Soda on a steady basis, filming, editing and directing their campaign films since 2010. Other clients include: Zoe Karssen, de Bijenkorf, Dutch Vogue, Dutch Cosmo, Sissy-Boy, Studio JUX, Kuyichi, de Nederlandse Hartstichting and Natwerk.
